Rieth-Riley has been a fixture in the Grand Rapids area for many years and has developed a solid reputation for backing everything it sells and builds. This Rieth-Riley division is the only supplier in the area that furnishes cold patch for winter street repair. We stockpile 4,000 tons of cold patch in the fall for use by counties and utilities throughout the winter. This temporary, unique paving material (UPM) can be paved over after the winter season. The on-site asphalt plant is the largest Rieth-Riley asphalt operation in Michigan. In addition to the primary activity of asphalt production and paving, the division sells stone and gravel to area contractors and performs concrete work such as sidewalks, curbs and gutters.
