Our Safety efforts here at Rieth-Riley are outstanding.

Safety is a priority at Rieth-Riley.  Our employees are our greatest asset and contribute significantly to our continued success.  Our goal is for each employee to go home safely to their families each day.

To help us attain this goal we require all of our supervisors to receive formal safety training which includes OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 hour courses in construction safety, OSHA trenching, Excavation and Soil Mechanics, and receive manadatory First Aid/CPR training on a regular basis.  Employees working at our mining operations receive training in accordance with MSHA safety regulations and attend annual 8 hour refresher training.

All employees are required to attend weekly Toolbox Talks that cover topics specific to the construction industry.

Each injury and accident is investigated by our Risk Management and Safety team.  The information is analyzed to determine negative trends which are immediately addressed.

Rieth-Riley is regularly recognized by the AGC of America's Safety Award program for having injury incident and lost time incident rates 25% below the national industry rates.
